I had one of those pagers at work until about 5 years ago! The kids at work assumed it was a phone and often used it to pretend play.
Somewhat related – earlier this month, we came across a pay phone and were able to show it to Owen. We explain how one made phone calls while out and about before cell phones existed. He was baffled! 🤣
